The Quinn Center is a vibrant space where neighbors of all ages and many different walks of life come together to connect, grow, and access essential services across Maywood and the Proviso Township community.
Our anniversary theme, Bridging Generations, Building Community, is a reminder of what makes Quinn so special. We believe that when people of all ages show up for one another, we strengthen the fabric of our community.

While Hunger Ministry is just one part of Quinn’s wide-ranging programs, we know that our work to address food insecurity in Maywood/Proviso Township is very important. It was also one of the very first programs we offered. In addition to distributing groceries for families to take home, we’ve also gathered our neighbors for Tuesday community dinners where seniors, youth, families, and neighbors can share a nourishing meal. On February 3, we hosted a special Anniversary Community Dinner to celebrate this milestone.

In the spirit of Monsignor Quinn, the Quinn Center’s namesake, we have always welcomed anyone who has shown up on our doorstep with a desire to be part of this special community. Yet we cannot ignore our roots as a faith-inspired and faith-animating organization. In October, we celebrated our 15th anniversary with an evening Mass followed by a reception. Thanks to all who attended!
