PROGRAMS & SERVICES
In addition to offering signature programs, the Quinn Center partners with local organizations to fill gaps in services. We address social determinants of health to increase quality of life and future success. All of our programs bring people together for connection and education as community members of all generations strengthen themselves, their families, and their neighbors. Some hallmarks of our unique approach include:

YOUTH PROGRAMS
YOUTH AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
The Quinn Center’s Afterschool Program provides a safe and supportive environment for children in grades 1-8 to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Around 30 students per semester receive homework assistance; engage in enrichment activities such as music, art, and science; and participate in physical education and nutrition classes that empower them to make healthy choices. The program operates T, W, and Th from 5-7:30 and registration is rolling. Contact office@quinncenter.org for more information.
YOUTH SUMMER PROGRAM
Our youth summer program runs M-Th during the month of July. In addition to preventing summer learning loss in core subjects, it encourages students to explore art, science, creative writing, physical education, and more. Past activities include field days, lessons on caring for animals, and financial literacy and entrepreneurship workshops. We’ve also launched a lending library stocked with culturally relevant books. Our teen camp counselors work alongside teachers and staff to maintain a positive, organized environment.
