YOUTH SUMMER PROGRAM

Every summer, our camp brings kids together to build lasting friendships, grow in confidence, and discover new passions. This 4-week, full-day, low-cost program serves approximately 100 students in grades 1-8 and provides a variety of enrichment experiences from science and reading to arts and sports. High school students are hired to support the summer camp operation as camp counselors and receive additional training, professional development, and leadership opportunities.

DONORS & SPONSORS

In order to make this program accessible and affordable for all local families, we rely on the generosity of community members and local businesses to sponsor some of our costs. If you are interested in supporting the Quinn Center's Summer Program, please choose one of the following options:

Monetary: Click below to donate online or mail a check (payable to "Quinn Center of St. Eulalia" with "summer camp" in the memo line).

Sponsorships: Corporate sponsorships are available to cover registration fees for children, offset the cost of t-shirts and other supplies, or provide lunches. We're also inviting local restaurants to donate lunch one time or once per week (for a total of 4 weeks). Sponsor logos will be printed on t-shirts and companies will be recognized on our website, social media, and printed materials (flyers, annual report, etc).

In-kind: We are always in need of snacks, athletic equipment, art supplies, books, prizes, and more. Check out our Amazon wishlist for current needs.

PARENTS & YOUTH PARTICIPANTS

TEEN CAMP COUNSELORS

This paid role is highly selective and involves an application and interview process, 1 week of paid work to complete program orientation (mandatory attendance), 4 weeks of paid work providing support during the summer program, and an end-of-summer celebration. Teen Camp Counselors assist classroom instructors, manage daily check-in and check-out, coordinate activity transitions, mentor younger children and much more! They also participate in weekly development nights to explore topics related to college and careers, professional skills, mental wellness, and leadership development.
