mission & vision
The Quinn Center of St. Eulalia is the principal social outreach ministry of Saint Eulalia Parish that was founded in 2010 to address social justice concerns and outreach to a diverse Proviso community. Named after Msgr. William Quinn, a former pastor of St. Eulalia, the Center continues his legacy of community engagement, empowerment and growth.
Our mission is to partner with the people of Proviso to build an inclusive culture of justice, health and peace through intentional action.
Ten years after its founding, the Quinn Center continues to elevate, inspire, and empower the community through relationship building. All engagement programs are created with community input specifically to break down isolation, share life experiences, and learn from each other. An old, shuttered school building has been transformed into a central meeting place for empowerment and collective decision-making. The Quinn Center provides an essential resilience mechanism to the community by partnering with local anchor institutions, organizations, and collaboratives to support and empower residents who are proud, passionate, resourceful, and willing to invest in one another for the common good.
